The Handball Days take place across the whole of Lübeck. Matches are played at several venues, and participants are accommodated in schools and sports halls in the heart of Lübeck. With your tournament pass, you can use public transport free of charge.
Lohmühle
Lohmühle is usually home to VFB Lübeck in the third division of German football. But for one weekend, handball takes centre stage here. The matches take place in a fantastic atmosphere across 17 pitches, both natural and artificial turf. A large marquee, a sports shop, various food stalls and a FUN Area complete the venue. This is also where the legendary disco for all participants takes place on Saturday evening, and on Sunday the final matches, followed immediately by the award ceremonies. Those arriving by car can park in two large car parks. Public transport is free of charge with your tournament pass, allowing you to travel comfortably between the venues and your accommodation.

Buniamshof
The Buniamshof, in the heart of Lübeck, is actually an athletics stadium, and American football is occasionally played there too.
During the Handball Days, the stadium is converted and twelve handball pitches are set up on natural and artificial turf. There is a covered grandstand, various food stalls and a great atmosphere. A highlight here are the Friday evening matches under floodlights. With your tournament pass, you can use public transport free of charge. The Holstentorplatz stop is just a few minutes’ walk away.

Falkenwiese
Even in the early years, Falkenwiese was the heart of the Handball Days. A few years ago, the Falkenwiese sports centre was completely refurbished and has since become a popular hotspot for Lübeck’s recreational athletes. To mark the anniversary year of the Handball Days, matches are now being held at Falkenwiese once again. With your tournament pass, you can use public transport free of charge to travel comfortably between the venues and your accommodation.

Hansehalle
The home games of the handball second division team VFL Lübeck-Schwartau or the games of the A-Youth Bundesliga team MTV Lübeck usually take place in the Lübeck Hansehalle at the Lohmühle. During the Handball Days, the Hansehalle is the venue for the Nations Cup with the U18 national teams. Admission to the games is free for all participants of the Handball Days.
